      Hi Jammy.H.High!

When you say survey, do you mean the imanengineer event? 😀 If so, then it’s important for me because I feel like I should give something back to the industry.

There’s also the fact that we are experiencing what is being reported as a “crisis”in the UK with respect to the number of engineers we have. It’s estimated that around 55, 000 engineers will be needed to keep up with the demand… and a failure to find these engineers could cost the UK economy up to £27 Billion every year!

So there’s a couple of reasons why it’s important to me. Hope this helps!

      Hi Jammy,

This event is important (at least in my eyes) because it helps the younger generations (you guys) to speak to real engineers about what it is like to be an engineer. When I was in school I never even thought that engineering was a career choice but luckily i fell into it! Events like this are communicating what it actually means to be an engineer so it might interest you, this event is giving you guys that chance ask and if we can inspire just a few of you to follow a career in engineering, you might eventually solve the worlds energy crisis, and that would be job done for this event 🙂

      Hi Jammy,

I really want to help young people learn more about engineering and see it is an exciting career choice. I was the only person in my year at school who chose to go on to study engineering and I think it was a real shame, as I went to school with some very intelligent people.

So hopefully doing this event will show you guys what a great career you could have in engineering.
