• Question: why do you think it is important that women become engineers in todays world

      Engineering is all about helping people, and so when you have engineers designing things for people then they need to be able to design for lots of people. By having more diverse teams, then you bring more diverse ideas to the table and are able to find a much better solution that considers everyone with engineering.

      There has been a misconception that women can’t do engineering, but I think it’s more because they don’t understand what engineering really is.
