• Question: What is an example of the work you have done on roads in the UK?

      I was involved in helping to upgrade all of the safety cameras across Wales. These are used to monitor the major roads, such as the M4, to keep an eye on what is happening and alert traffic officers to go to incidents – such as a broken down car on the hard shoulder. There was a lot of planning involved in this upgrading, so I learnt a lot about CCTV cameras.

      It’s funny how now I notice all the cameras on the side of roads as I drive along – not something I ever noticed before.
