Definitely the practical. The theory is important to allow us to come up with solutions, and understand what we are doing but reality comes with all other challenges. It is really satisfying to see something work in real life – rather than just on paper.

      Hi!

This is a very tough question! There are some parts of theory that I find very fascinating – such as the way that materials behave when you stretch or squish them, or the way that fluids behave as they flow – but actually seeing the theories being put into practice is awesome!

I find it really enjoyable even doing things like making paper aeroplanes – thinking up how you are going to design it is cool… but actually seeing it fly is the coolest part!

      Hi 228,

I enjoy the practical side the best, but then I always did enjoy the practical side at school. I have also answered the following question related to which one I do the most!
