      A challenging and exciting role, that allows you behind the scenes access to the way our road network works – and then help to make it safer and better for everyone who uses it.

      Hi!

      Tough question! I’d probably go for:

      “The role is to design and analyse subsea pipelines to ensure that they are operating safely. This will include performing calculations and building 3D models using computer software. The role requires strong maths and communication skills.”

      Hope this helps!

      Hi Rachel Lousie,

      Imagine the guy that introduces movie trailers in reading this;

      ‘Do you want to be solve the worlds problems?’
      ‘Do you want to be the Hero of Future Generations?’
      ‘Do you want to make a difference?’
      ‘Look no further, Engineer, your Country needs you!’

      Not bad eh, It could do with some work though,

      Seriously,

      I would say that if you enjoyed solving problems, if you wanted an opportunity to do interesting work each day, and if you wanted a stable and rewarding job that was well paid then look at Engineering, it might just do all of the above!
