I have very strong beliefs that there really is no big difference between men and women, that both are just as capable as the other at doing something – it comes down to individuals not gender.

However, I do enjoy the reaction I get when people ask me what I do for a job and I reply “I’m an Engineer”. So yes, I am pleased to be breaking the stereotype, and I hope in doing so I demonstrate to others that anyone can be an engineer if they want to be.
