• Question: have you ever considered another field of engineering? (eg. computer engineering etc.) ?

      Yes, I have considered other fields! I’ve not considered computer engineering though – although it sounds interesting, I don’t currently have the background… but with some extra learning it think it could be possible though.

      I’m currently a Subsea engineer working in oil and gas, but I have an interest in the energy sector generally–for example, nuclear, and renewable energy. I think in the near future I want to look at opportunities to check out these other fields (which my company is also involved in).

      I have considered other fields of engineering. I have a background in electrical engineering and aerospace engineering (from my father) so I would totally love in the future to explore them a little further!

      I haven’t but then I haven’t been working for very long, so still getting to grips with civil engineering. However, I think a lot of fields link up to help solve problems so perhaps later in my career I may find myself exploring other disciplines.
